As the economy recovers more and more people are replacing their cars. This means new and used car sales are up higher than they have been in a long time, even luxury car sales. If you are looking to buy a used car or truck you are in luck, since we are writing a whole series about them. Today we are looking at the best used luxury compact SUV’s for under 30k.
Used 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class
When it first debuted in 2010, this SUV was well received for its smooth suspension, bold design, and the overall quality you would expect from Mercedes-Benz. There are some complaints of a mediocre interior cabin space, light steering and horrible fuel economy, still for you money it is a great over all buy. It comes with both all wheel and rear wheel drive which alter its fuel economy. Its powerful engine will give you more than enough energy to get where you want to go and bring whatever you want with you. Kit options include: leather upholstery, navigation, backup camera, front and back seat infotainment systems, panoramic sunroof and power lift gate. It sports a 3.5 liter V6 that produces 268hp and gets 16/22 mpg. Mercedes also has a strong certified used car program.
Used 2010 Volvo XC60
This used car was a strong candidate for our number one spot. With lots of cargo space, great performance and safety features you can’t find elsewhere, this
SUV is great for a family vehicle. The interior has excellent overall design and quality with a good dose or pragmatism. Tin fact, the only real knock on is a slightly cramped back seat (most in this class have this problem) and poor fuel economy in all-wheel drive mode. Its two engine options make sure you have plenty of power. It also offers different kit levels depending on what you are looking for. Options include: leather seating, backup camera, rear park assist, navigation and sound system upgrades. The base engine is a turbocharged 3.2 liter, I6 engine with 235hp and 18/27mpg. Volvo’s are also available as certified used cars.
Used 2010 Infiniti EX
We continue our
used car comparison with the Infiniti EX. This SUV has a strong driving mechanics, powerful engine but a somewhat limited cargo capacity. If you are looking for a family friendly vehicle look elsewhere but if you want a perky, fun drive this is your car. At 297 its horsepower is far great then others in its class. It also gets decent gas mileage for its class. Standard equipment is leather seats, a rearview camera and six speaker sound system. Upgrades include Bluetooth, Bose stereo, navigation and multi-view camera. Since it debuted in 2008 you might find a good older one at a cheaper price. It has a powerful 3.5 liter, V6 engine with 297hp and 17/24mpg.
So there you go. Next up we will look at luxury SUV’s over 30k.
